The role

You’re responsible for HERE’s Positioning solution including product management, engineering and deployment. HERE is a leading provider of positioning technologies, enabling all kinds of mobile devices to determine and maintain their accurate position in both indoor and outdoor environments. Working with your team and your colleagues your mission is to further expand the role of this technology in the HERE business.



Your key responsibilities are:
Drive product strategy and management for business growth in the indoor and outdoor positioning market
Ensure fast and effective product development, cloud deployment and operations to meet market expectations
Work closely with HERE business groups to ensure alignment and synergy with the rest of HERE offer, in particular Indoor location services
Support sales efforts and work together with customers like mobile OEMs to integrate Positioning to their products
Manager for our entire Positioning team in Tampere, reporting directly to VP of Map Services in Berlin
Desired Skills and Experience
Business and product management skills to further advance HERE Positioning business with B2B customers
Excellent leadership and communication skill to inspire the world-class team and to effectively collaborate across sites and organizational boundaries
Good understanding about indoor and outdoor positioning and location services market and technologies
Good understanding about software development in mobile and cloud environments
Strong experience about leading and organizing large product teams and products
MSc, MBA, PhD in related field preferred
